I had worries about the early days of being a mother, having seen friends have a hard time, but with her by our side guiding, coaching, and supporting us at every step, this has been a wonderful first three months. Jem genuinely adores babies and treats them with such care and tenderness. My son lights up when he hears her voice! Most of all though I prize Jem’s knowledge of helping babies sleep. Our son now sleeps through the night 8pm-7am at 11 weeks old and we got there through Jem’s gentle guidance and week by week approach to get him to this stage. She is thoughtful about every aspect of his well-being, and not only has looked after him so well, but has taught me a lot and helped me feel confident and competent when she’s not around. BOISROND Stoke Newington Jemima came to help us with our 6m daughter's sleep and we can confidently say she changed our lives. Before getting her support we were struggling with hourly wake ups, feeding to sleep, rocking to sleep, early rising, split nights, basically every sleep issue known to parents. After only 4 days with Jemima, our daughter now sleeps through the night and we can finally breathe. We also learned so much about babies' sleep from her - she's a real expert. ZALLENATO Coombe Hill I find it hard to put into words how amazing Jemima was with the twins and Olivia. Jemima came to work with us when our twins were 2 weeks old and our elder daughter was 5 years old. She was a pleasure to have around the home and was full of helpful advice and guidance whilst always being very considerate of the route/approach you wished to take. Once the twins were old enough Jemima helped us establish an age appropriate routine that fitted in with our family life. Her approach was always very gentle and I was able to leave the twins with Jemima knowing they were in the best hands. Jemima is caring, thoughtful, positive, highly knowledgeable and a natural with babies and children - it’s so clear to see the love she has for her job and the babies she cares for. She was only supposed to be with us for 4 weeks which turned in to five months and had we been able to have her for longer we would have without hesitation! BETTS Parsons Green To whom it may concern, We had the pleasure and privilege of having Jemima help us with our newborn daughter over the summer of 2022. To say Jemima was the best thing to happen to us after bringing our daughter Sasha - who was born 6 weeks early, home, would be an understatement. Jemima was so knowledgable, reliable and a very reassuring presence in our home. Most importantly, her love of babies was so clear through the warm and loving manner in which she cared for and interacted with our daughter. Jemima is well educated and versed in all topics relating to babies, from breastfeeding and sleeping patterns to digestive issues and personally provided me with so much comfort in what otherwise could have been a really difficult and anxious time. Watching her care for my daughter I had total trust in her abilities and character, and zero concerns leaving Sasha with Jemima (sometimes I even thought Sasha preferred it!). Jemima was also super flexible and made sure that any adjustments we made to Sasha’s feeding or sleeping schedule worked for our family and we’re aligned with what we wanted. At 10 weeks, our daughter was quickly catching up to her full term peers in terms of weight and feeding, was already sleeping through the long stretch at night 11pm-7am - all thanks to Jemima. She also provided invaluable recommendations of professionals, including osteopaths, after identifying potential issues early on (for example with digestion) which we were able to rectify quite quickly as a result. Jemima was also an invaluable help to me as I recovered from an unexpected C-section, helping me bounce back much quicker than anticipated. Mentally, Jemima’s presence also really helped reduce any of the stress or anxiety I would have had given our situation. Jemima went above and beyond her role as a maternity nurse, also helping us interview and find a full time nanny for our daughter through her networks, acting as a knowledgable and experienced second opinion. Most importantly, Jemima felt as though she had become part of our family. It was lovely to have her around our house and her positive happy attitude really added to the family environment we were looking to build with our little one. Needless to say we will miss Jemima dearly!

Jemima has worked for us during the period of 26th of July 2021 until 28th of September 2021, mainly 5 days a week for 24 hours to look after my third new-born son. It was a great decision to employ her as her love for babies and for her job shines through. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have employed her and learnt from someone so caring, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. She was a pilar of strength throughout her months with us and was a wonderful support. I was able to quickly recover from my c-section and dedicate time for my older children. Furthermore, her knowledge of maternity childcare and sleep coaching is extremely extensive, and she worked wonders to make my little one feel comfortable and being able to sleep all night. He started sleeping through the night from 10 weeks onwards. Jemima is always appropriate, and she fitted into our family dynamic from the first day. She made a potentially stressful period a genuine pleasure. I can recommend Jemima without hesitation.
BAILEYS Putney Jemima has been such an incredible pillar for us in this journey of being new parents. She started helping us when our little one was 8 weeks old (April 2021) and we have engaged with Jemima as a maternity nurse 2-3 times a week as well as a sleep coach on a live in 24/6 basis. She had our little man sleeping through the night and on a very tailored routine within a week of starting sleep coaching. Jemima also took full control of the weaning process for Vinnie and taught me all the ropes of this, including equipment to buy, tricks to get him to enjoy it, and recipes. Not to mention leaving me with 3 month supply of freshly made frozen purees! Jemima helped us manage and identify our sons silent reflux and dairy allergy, she worked with us through some stressful moments where our little one was rejecting food and in pain, whilst at the same time I was under tremendous stress with my breastfeeding and pumping frustrations. She remained always calm and positive, and always very caring. Her initiative is second to none and her positive energy is infectious. Jemima has real love and passion for her work and Vinnie absolutely adores her and looks for her when she is not around. A pleasure to have around always as an extension of the family and an expert we can tap into for help. We continue to ask Jemima for her expertise in different capacities, currently doing a few hours a week during day time with the aim to ease me into getting back to work as I would not trust anyone else fully unsupervised with Vinnie. Knowing Jemima has him gives us FULL peace of mind and we trust her, her values, and her capabilities implicitly.

FABIANOS Chelsea Hello mums , We are moving back to Italy so unfortunately we need to say goodbye to our amazing and special maternity nurse ! She is quite busy so not sure about her availability but I really want to suggest and recommend her cause she save our lives this month, as first time parents far away from family she was so important , she took care of me , she helped with breastfeeding and gave lots of tips and suggestions about everything , from little things like which bottle or breast pump is better to more important once like how and how much to pump or feed the baby , how to bath him etc etc . She is also a sleep coach and helped my baby from day 1 with this and with a routine for the day and the feedings so he is super calm , sleeps a lot and he is growing so well and I can say that is all because she was next to me during this difficult period ! The most important thing is that she loves our baby like he is her own and he loves her so much too . I know how difficult can be to trust someone with our little babies , how difficult can be to leave them so I am happy to share with you my amazing experience with her and if needed feel free to ask for more details and for her phone number ! She was our special maternity nurse ! Jemima is so wonderful to have in the house. She has such a calm and kind way with babies and children absolutely fall in love with her. My son was almost 5 months when Jemima came and has reflux and some difficulty with feeding and discomfort and Jemima was so patient and kind with him. She is very knowledgeable and is subtle with her suggestions but extremely effective.. in 3 weeks she had my son sleeping through the night from 7-7. She is also full of ideas for activities and development for babies and always included my 4 year old daughter who adored her ! I can highly recommend Jemima as a maternity nurse & sleep coach and we can’t wait to have her back.
PEACHEYS Clapham It's hard to put into words just how absolutely fantastic Jemima has been. She has been with us 3 months and was the best decision we have ever made. She is calm, capable and extremely knowledgeable about babies so please don't be put off by her age. I was quite unwell after my emergency c-section and Jemima was compassionate and proactive about making things easier and more comfortable for me. Having a younger maternity nurse was also of benefit because she is very up to date and on the ball about all aspects of baby and child safety so I felt completely secure leaving our baby with her whilst I was needing to rest. She is proactive and very flexible- we wanted a more "baby- led" approach and Jemima adapted to this with ease and enthusiasm. I was also exclusively breastfeeding and Jemima was helpful and knowledgeable around this as well. She was professional and reliable and sensitive to the needs/personality of all family members. Our elder toddler loved her and Jemima had some really helpful suggestions about how to make bedtime with her less stressful and helping her to adapt to having a younger sibling. We all thoroughly enjoyed Jemima's company because she is upbeat, fun, plenty of energy and a kind and caring person. We had only meant to have her for a few weeks but she ended up staying for 3 months! I would not hesitate in leaving my children with her, and we are already looking forward to seeing her again. I honestly cannot recommend her highly enough and have already done so to many of our friends and family.
CIARALDIS Chelsea Jemima has worked for our family since June 2020 at which time we had a newborn girl and an 18 month old girl. Jemima has been a god-send. From the outset, she has been incredibly professional, caring and reliable. Her knowledge of newborn’s as well as toddler’s took the stress and edge off having two young children close in age. She was more than able to look after both at the same time. We had no problems or concerns in leaving them both in her care, to allow both of us to continue working. Her wonderfully positive and proactive nature, as well as her ability to be flexible meant that she slotted in perfectly with our family life. We are not an ordered or routine driven family, so having Jemima adapt so easily to each day being different, can’t have been easy but we are so grateful for this. I was not really able to take much maternity leave, due to running my own interior design business Jemima would make sure that feed times for the newborn were always on time and help me with nursing to ensure the baby was fed enough at each feed. She would also help me to settle the baby which can be difficult, and something I struggled with, with my first. Because of the feeds running like clock-work it was not long before Jemima had our newborn in a little routine that Luella really thrived from, and at the same time, put my mind at ease as I felt confident knowing I had her support and her knowledge to get through the early stages, which I find are the most difficult. Having Jemima also ensured I was able to continue to work, as well as gain some independence and me time which is so important for helping Mum’s feel like themselves again after having a baby. With my husband working away as a pilot, I really relied on Jemima’s support and her skills to either take sole charge of the children or work with me as much as I wanted, and establish healthy routines for the children, which in turn alleviated so much stress and worry from me. She even got our strong-minded toddler, who we struggled to get to sleep at night for 18 months, going to bed without one of us having to be with her for hours before she went to sleep, which is a huge relief for us. Despite the difficulties of COVID and moving houses, Jemima was always there to make sure all our childcare needs were met, and always had a ‘can-do’ attitude providing help and company, wherever and whenever it was needed. Jemima is such a wonderful Maternity Nurse for us and we are so lucky to have been recommended her, as without her we would not have been able to cope and enjoy all these precious moments as a young family as we have. SMITHS Knightsbridge We as a family were lucky enough to have the wonderful Jemima be our maternity nurse for our third baby. Jemima is very calming and friendly and put me totally at ease leaving my children with her after my difficult birth for resting. My middle baby is only 14 months old and Jemima often, particularly in the third and fourth week, had both my daughter and son day and night as she got my son sleeping in his own room. This was an absolute god-send and couldn’t have been needed more at this busy time. Jemima was also very playful and inclusive of my oldest daughter, who absolutely adored her and was very emotional to see her go. I was worried for both of my children particularly my middle baby (who is still a baby) bringing another child into the house and couldn’t have done it without Jemima. We miss Jemima already and wish her all the best. We will also be having her back whenever we can! I cannot recommend her enough!
MEYERHOFFS Chelsea We loved having Jemima help us with our newborn during the nights. She is reliable, easy-going, and attentive in terms of taking on any preferences in how to handle little one. She is very experienced especially with babies who have a hard time feeding/ settling after a feed. On more than one occasion, she offered great tips on how to get little one to be more comfortable. She always kept track of everything so I knew how the nights had gone. Our two older sons (5 and 2) always ask for her now because they loved talking to her in the mornings and their interactions were super sweet. Having Jemima look after our son gave me complete peace of mind and little one was always very happy in the mornings. Would recommend without hesitation.
GAULTS Vauxhall From the grandmother (my employer): Reference for Jemima Nicholls I employed Jemima worked for my daughter and son-in-law, who have additional needs for about a year on and off looking after their little baby daughter, and she was absolutely brilliant.. She couldn't have been more professional, and helpful and kind, and was a joy to have around.. She filled the freezer with endless meals for the baby to keep them going for several months when she left, and has been really wonderful....we were all very sorry to see her go.. Everyone in the family became very fond of her. She is young and fun but also very wise and mature and really fitted in...She was full of initiative and imagination with activities to do with the baby and things like how to baby proof the house when the she started crawling everywhere and trying to walk, and putting a paddling pool on the balcony for her to play in and cool off in the heat.. She was very imaginative, both in making varied meals for Angela, and also her playtime, at home or at local baby classes. Angela’s nursery was always immaculate, and her laundry beautifully ironed. If we had any worries or questions she always made helpful suggestions. When I couldn’t physically manage Angela, Jemima would help whether it was at home or on public transport. Jemima also supported me in taking Angela swimming. She took lots of photos which made days very special. I wouldn’t have managed on my own. She is so passionate about her job and it was such a pleasure to have her working with us. We are going to miss her terribly.
WALLACE Hampstead Heath To whom it may concern Jemima helped us with two week old twins in December 2017, including providing overnight assistance. As first time parents, and parents of newborn twins, it was a tiring and anxious time and Jemima was a pleasure to be around. We were at ease immediately due to her caring and positive nature and had complete trust in her caring for our babies, Emmeline and Theodore. Jemima was relaxed and confident around Emmeline and Theodore. She helped to feed and change them and helped me when I was tandem breast feeding, which at the time was difficult as I had only just started to do it. Jemima was particularly helpful during the night, feeding, caring for the babies and settling them and making and sterilising bottles for their formula top-ups. O’MALLEY Kensington Hi All, Jemima Nichols stayed with us to help with our 12 week old triplets (4 weeks adjusted time) She helped with feeding the babies all day and helped overnight too. They were feeding every 3 hours and 2 of our girls suffered with colic in the evenings so she also helped with settling the babies. She has a very calm manner and really patient especially when the babies were all crying at the same time, nothing seemed to phase her. I really do, absolutley LOVE my job. I practically skip to work each day. I cannot put into words how lucky I have been to have worked for the most incredible families, during the most vulnerable, yet special time in their lives. For this I will be forever grateful. I form strong bonds with not only my babies, but their parents and siblings too. I try as often as possible to visit my previous babies which is usually where my days off are spent. I take great pleasure in the updates from the families long after I have left them and miss them awfully. I do not believe you can do my job to the best of your ability unless you genuinley care for the baby/babies and their family.
